Smart Industrial is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a field-based team across Sydney’s industrial sites, overseeing maintenance and breakdown responses. You will manage technicians, coordinate schedules, and provide hands-on PLC fault-finding and preventative maintenance in FMCG, manufacturing and industrial environments.

The role requires proven leadership within Australian industrial settings, strong electrical qualifications and a safety-first approach, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising electricians or field technicians.
• Proven Australian industrial manufacturing, maintenance or field services experience.
• Electrical trade qualifications and current electrical licence.
• Experience with industrial breakdowns, preventative maintenance and PLC fault-finding.
• Ability to coordinate workloads and build strong customer relationships.
• Commitment to safe work practices, quality and compliance.
• Must have current driver’s licence and ability to travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor and coordinate electricians and subcontractors across customer sites.
• Manage maintenance schedules, resources, quotations and priorities.
• Support machine breakdowns, fault-finding and PLC troubleshooting.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Prepare SWMS/JSAs and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Liaise with customers and production teams to deliver reliable service.
