Job summary

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our on-site team in Sydney. You will lead installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting across instrumentation, control systems, hazardous areas, and switchboards with a strong safety and leadership focus.

Role requires Cert 3 in Instrumentation and Electrotechnology, EEHA training, and HV experience; you will plan/schedule works, prepare work packs and ensure QA/QC documentation is completed to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor.
• A Cert 3 in Instrumentation.
• A Cert 3 in Electrotechnology.
• EEHA training and experience.
• Must have HV experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead site electrical supervision tasks including installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting across instrumentation, control systems and substations.
• Coordinate QA/QC documentation, hazardous area checks and auditing.
• Plan, scope and deliver work packs to final completion with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Weare hiring experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on site in Sydney.

Works including but not limited to

• Installation, maintenance, modification, testing and troubleshooting in the following subcategories:

• Analysers, Transmitters, Calibration of Instrumentation, Condition Monitoring Equipment, Electrical Motors, Emergency Shutdown Systems, General Electrical & Instrumentation, Hazardous Area Installations/Certification, Industrial Lighting, Instrumentation and Control Systems, Switchboards and SubstationsWork

• Compilation and submission of all QA/QC documentation, including any hazardous area checks and auditing

• Scoping and preparing of work packs and delivery to final completion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Proven experience as a supervisor
• A Cert 3 in Instrumentation
• A Cert 3 in Electrotechnology
• EEHA training and experience
• Must have HV experience
• High regard for safety and lead by example
• Ability to form and run safe and efficient teams
• Experience in planning and scheduling of works
• Experience with SAP or equivalent systems
