Job summary

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our on-site team in Sydney. You will oversee installation, maintenance and testing of instrumentation, electrical systems and hazardous areas, ensuring safety and quality.

You must hold Cert 3 in Instrumentation and Cert 3 in Electrotechnology, with HV experience and EEHA training. As a hands-on leader, you will plan and schedule works, drive safe practices, and coordinate with SAP or equivalent systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in electrical/instrumentation projects.
• HV electrical experience is essential for site tasks.
• EEHA training or certification is required.
• Cert 3 in Instrumentation is essential.
• Cert 3 in Electrotechnology is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, modification and testing of electrical/instrumentation systems on site in Sydney.
• Lead safe, efficient teams and plan/work scheduling for jobs.
• Compile QA/QC documentation and hazardous area checks as required.
• Coordinate with project teams and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

We are hiring experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on site in Sydney.

Works including but not limited to

• Installation, maintenance, modification, testing and troubleshooting in the following subcategories: Analysers, Transmitters, Calibration of Instrumentation, Condition Monitoring Equipment, Electrical Motors, Emergency Shutdown Systems, General Electrical & Instrumentation, Hazardous Area Installations/Certification, Industrial Lighting, Instrumentation and Control Systems, Switchboards and SubstationsWork
• Compilation and submission of all QA/QC documentation, including any hazardous area checks and auditing
• Scoping and preparing of work packs and delivery to final completion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Proven experience as a supervisor
• A Cert 3 in Instrumentation
• A Cert 3 in Electrotechnology
• EEHA training and experience
• Must have HV experience
• High regard for safety and lead by example
• Ability to form and run safe and efficient teams
• Experience in planning and scheduling of works
• Experience with SAP or equivalent systems
