Job summary

Melton City Council is hiring a Facility Service & Support Officer to join the Recreation and Facility Activation Business Unit. The role focuses on building relationships with tenants and stakeholders to activate indoor stadiums and deliver inclusive recreation programs.

It supports daily operations, booking management, and customer service excellence within the Council. The position reports to the Coordinator Leisure Centres and contributes to health and wellbeing initiatives for the City

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high-level customer service skills.
• Experience maintaining administrative systems and word processing duties.
• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely information about Leisure Centres programs, events, services, and facilities to customers.
• Provide administrative support to the Leisure Centres team, including correspondence, inquiries, and reports.
• Take booking enquiries for hireable space in Indoor Stadiums and manage booking systems.
• Support the Coordinator Leisure Centres to ensure efficient operations of Indoor Stadiums.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Council policies in information handling.
