Job summary

Challenge Employment and Training Ltd in Mooloolaba, QLD, is seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability). This casual role offers potential transition to full-time for the right candidate and involves both online and face-to-face teaching four days a week, plus one day at our Collingwood Park head office.

Essential requirements include TAE certificates, relevant Individual Support qualifications, community services

Qualifications

• TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) is required.
• Certificate, Diploma or higher in Individual Support/Community Care is required.
• Sound understanding of the Community Services Industry is essential.
• Recent and relevant industry experience (at least 2 years) is preferred.
• Current Driver’s Licence and ability to train and assess HLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability).
• Use engaging and varied teaching methods to inspire learners.
• Plan lessons and update training materials as needed.
• Mark and submit assessments within required timeframes.
• Support students with work placement coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes.
• Build and sustain relationships with community partners and local employers.

Challenge Employment and Training Ltd is a well-established not-for-profit RTO. We deliver training and employment support programs across multiple locations in Southeast Queensland.

We are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) at our Mooloolaba location. This is a casual position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment for the right candidate.

- Delivery will include the use of flexible learning models using online platforms and face-to-face training 4 days a week. You will work 1 day a week at our head office in Collingwood Park.

Essential Requirements

• TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

Compensation is competitive and will be based on your experience. Salary sacrifice is available!

Please note: Our main office is located at Collingwood Park (4301). Occasional travel between campuses is required.
