Job summary

Challenge Employment & Training in Cleveland, QLD is seeking a casual Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) at our Cleveland campus. The role is 4 days a week in a face-to-face classroom setting, with LMS-backed online learning support.

The position may transition to full-time for the right candidate. Essential qualifications include TAE40116/TAE40122 Cert IV in Training & Assessment, relevant Individual Support/Community Care

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
• Use engaging and varied teaching methods to inspire learners
• Plan lessons and update training materials as needed
• Mark and submit assessments within required timeframes
• Support students with work placement coordination
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
• Build and sustain relationships with community partners and local employers

We are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) at our Cleveland location. This is a casual position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment for the right candidate.

-This training will be delivered in a face-to-face classroom setting, 4 days per week. Training will be supported by online learning and Learner Management Systems (LMS).

TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

Relevant qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or higher) in Individual Support/Community Care

Soundunderstanding of the Community Services Industry

Recent and relevant industry experience (at least 2 years)

Current Driver’s Licence

The ability totrain and assessHLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded

Compensation is competitive and will be based on your experience. Salary sacrifice is available!
