Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker to collaboratively deliver culturally appropriate mental health support within their community and CHQ catchment. The role focuses on addressing social and emotional wellbeing needs arising from historical trauma and social determinants of health.

• Experience delivering culturally appropriate mental health support.
• Ability to supervise and mentor health workers.

Responsabilités

• Provide ongoing supervision, mentoring and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers, organizing training on cultural competence and mental health best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of mental health services to meet standards.
• Join committees and working groups to develop and implement culturally competent policies and initiatives.
• Coordinate social and emotional wellbeing assessments and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for holistic care and maintain client records.
