Job summary

Kyabra Community Association seeks a Resource Worker (Identified) to support the Sunshine Coast ADFV Service in Nambour, QLD. The role covers intake, assessment and case management, with focus on culturally safe, strengths-based service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The position is fixed-term with afterhours on-call requirements and requires collaboration across housing and DV services within Kyabra.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in community services and relevant sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake and assessment and case management functions.
• Strengthen cultural competency by advising on culturally safe services.
• Explore opportunities to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities/groups and stakeholders.
• Be an active member of Kyabra's RAP Working Party.
