Job summary

The University of Queensland is seeking an Administration Officer for the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health in Toowong. This part-time role provides essential executive and committee support, financial administration, event assistance and stakeholder service within a culturally safe framework.

You will work with colleagues who value collaboration, cultural integrity and meaningful change, and join the Centre’s staff group focused on Indigenous leadership and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day priorities.
• The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support and office coordination, acting as an initial point of contact.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel and financial processes including reimbursements and travel reconciliations.
• Support projects, workshops and events, including documentation and RSVP coordination.
• Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining efficient procedures.
