Job summary

IUIH Institute for Urban Indigenous Health is seeking an Administration Officer – Aged Care to provide efficient administration and communications support to the Aged Care service teams. The role focuses on coordinating reception duties and supporting financial and document processes within a community health setting.

Applicants should be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, have a current QLD driver’s licence, and hold a current criminal history check, as well as experience in

Qualifications

• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person is essential as a genuine occupational requirement.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
• Current Criminal History Check.
• Experience in office/administration/reception roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reception duties for the relevant Aged Care services.
• Responsible for the administration of the 1800 service once introduced in Southside.
• Coordinate provision of general administration support including photocopying, compilation of materials/folders, preparation for conferences and meetings and shredding of documents.
• Coordinate Finance paperwork by collating all accounts payable and accounts receivable along with all relevant documentation and approvals for lodgement with Corporate Services.
• Coordinate petty cash reimbursements.
