Shine People Solutions is seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer for a leading national organisation. The role focuses on cultural safety, inclusion and engagement initiatives, with hybrid flexible work across multiple cities.

You will provide cultural guidance, support reconciliation projects and build strong relationships with members, communities and internal teams to improve mental health outcomes for First Nations peoples.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience in community, health, public health, advocacy, engagement, policy or a related field.
• Strong cultural knowledge and connection to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Understanding of culturally safe practice and the impacts of colonisation and intergenerational trauma.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using common workplace technology and systems.
• Experience in mental health, healthcare, education, member-based organisations or professional associations will be highly regarded.
