AKG is seeking an Employment Development Specialist Day as part of Real Futures, delivering the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP) across Australia. You will connect First Nations people with jobs, training and career advancement, while supporting aspirants through mentoring and employer engagement.

The role involves group workshops, one-on-one coaching, and building relationships with employers to create guaranteed employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High level of digital literacy.
• Ability to deliver group workshops and provide one-on-one support.
• Strong relationship management with employers and participants.

Responsabilités

• Manage workload and collaborate with the Programs team to ensure participant outcomes.
• Relate to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and keep them engaged in service.
• Deliver group workshops and provide one-on-one support to aspirants.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, service providers and participants.
• Identify job roles and requirements for guaranteed employment positions.
• Assist with eligibility checks and prepare aspirants for employment.
