Job summary

Mi health services in Toowoomba region is seeking Urgent Support Worker / Independents for immediate start to provide hands-on disability support including personal care, mobility assistance, medication support and community access.

Ideal candidates hold current Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s licence and ABN with appropriate insurance; hoisting and transfer experience is essential, along with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Current Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current Blue Card / Working with Children Clearance
• Proven hoisting and transfer experience
• Manual handling and mobility support experience
• Good health literacy and ability to follow health and medication plans
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current driver's licence
• Reliable transport
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Independent Support Workers must have a current ABN and appropriate insurance
