Job summary

Empower Care Pty Ltd in Toowoomba is urgently seeking support workers for SIL housing to assist participants with daily tasks, accompany to appointments, and encourage healthy living.

Responsibilities include attending social events, assisting with medication, basic meal prep, transport, and providing companionship; you will complete shift notes and comply with NDIS requirements.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR accreditation required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• National Police check required.
• QLD driving licence and insured vehicle required.
• Assist with medication required.
• NDIS Orientation Module completed.

Cleaning, shopping and assisting the participant with daily tasks.

Providing companionship and taking a genuine interest in the participant and his interests.

Encouraging the participant to engage in activities in the community.

Supporting the participant to develop new hobbies and interests.

Encouraging the participant to make decisions for himself and feel confident doing so.

Applicants should have the following qualifications prior to working with participants:

Current First Aid and CPR Accreditation

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

National Criminal History (Police) Check

Valid QLD driving licence and fully insured vehicle

Assist with Medication skillset
