Job summary

Riverbend Primary School is seeking a Learning Specialist to remain a strong classroom practitioner while mentoring teachers, delivering demonstration lessons and leading professional learning across the school. You will model excellence in teaching and learning to support improved achievement, engagement and wellbeing for students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum.

• Ability to lead and facilitate school-based professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including teaching demonstration lessons.
• Work with leadership to develop a shared view of effective teacher practice.
• Lead and model implementation of whole-school improvement strategies.
• Provide professional learning and feedback to teachers to improve practice.
