Job summary

Queenslanders with Disability Network – Spring Hill is seeking an Events Officer to deliver inclusive, engaging in-person and online events that connect people and strengthen communities.

This full-time fixed-term contract runs until September 3, 2027. You will coordinate venues, accessible spaces, interpreters and digital supports; support online events through Zoom and Teams; and build strong relationships with members, government, community organisations and sector partners.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting events in disability, health, human services or community settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Zoom and Teams.
• Qualification in event management or digital marketing, or substantial relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support a diverse calendar of events across QDN’s activities.
• Coordinate venues, accessible spaces, interpreters and digital supports.
• Support online events through Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Build strong relationships with members, government, community organisations and sector partners.
• Manage multiple priorities and ensure events reflect QDN’s values.
