Job summary

APM is hiring an Employment Consultant for the Coffs Harbour, NSW site as part of the Inclusive Employment Australia Program. This role blends people support with sales, relationship building and administration to create meaningful employment opportunities.

You will market candidates, build employer networks, and guide participants to job-ready status while achieving KPI targets within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment or customer-facing roles.
• Passion for helping people overcome barriers and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants to understand their employment goals and position them for success.
• Coach participants to be job-ready, competitive, and interview confident.
• Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation, job search strategies and access to training/upskilling.
• Drive employment outcomes by advocating for participants to employers and securing placements.
• Generate new opportunities through cold calls, employer visits, and face-to-face engagement with employers.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of employers to convert opportunities into placements.
