Brisbane Catholic Education Office – Tamborine QLD is seeking two passionate and dedicated Support Teachers: Inclusive Education to join our growing learning community. The role focuses on ensuring all students can access, participate in, and achieve success in their learning.

You'll work collaboratively with teachers, students, families and support staff to foster inclusive practices that enable every student to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational policies and strategies supporting students with disabilities.
• Curriculum development and adaptation for diverse learners.
• Understanding NCCD processes and evidence collection.
• Strong classroom management to support safety and engagement.
• Ability to engage with families and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, learner-centred classroom aligned with curriculum policies.
• Develop and implement inclusive education practices and assess progress.
• Apply adaptive teaching strategies to support all learners.
• Oversee personalised support plans and adjust requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership, staff, and the wider school community.
• Support pastoral care and positive student relationships.
• Engage with the church and wider community in learning programs.
• Contribute to school events and celebrations.
