Eligibility requires current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; you will collaborate with staff, develop personalised supports, manage learning environments, and contribute to a faith-centered, supportive school

Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational policies, practices, and strategies that support students with disabilities.
• Curriculum development and adaptation tailored to diverse student needs.
• Understanding of NCCD and creating detailed learning profiles with appropriate adjustments.
• Effective classroom management to nurture a safe, engaging environment.
• Ability to engage with the wider community to foster learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing learning environment aligned with curriculum policies for students with disabilities.
• Collaboratively develop inclusive education practices and assess student progress.
• Implement adaptive, inclusive teaching strategies and report outcomes to families and community.
• Oversee Personalised Support Plans detailing adjustment requirements per NCCD timelines.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to support the school's professional life and pastoral care.
