St Augustine's College, Augustine Heights, part of Brisbane Catholic Education, seeks a dedicated Support Teacher: Inclusive Education on a 12-month fixed-term contract to advance inclusive practices and positive learning outcomes. You will work with the leadership team to develop personalised supports, adapt curriculum, supervise students, and engage families and the wider community in learning.

Eligibility includes eligibility to work in Australia and current registration with Queensland

Qualificações

• Knowledge of policies and strategies that support students with disabilities, learner-centered environments.
• Curriculum adaptation for diverse student needs aligned with standards.
• Understanding of the NCCD process and evidence collection.
• Effective classroom management ensuring safety, focus and engagement.
• Ability to engage with wider community and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Create a nurturing, learner-centred environment aligned with policies.
• Develop and implement inclusive education practices and curriculum.
• Evaluate effectiveness; assess and report student progress.
• Develop Personalised Support Plans compliant with NCCD timelines.
• Collaborate with leadership, teachers and staff to support students.
• Provide supervision of students and pastoral care.
• Encourage involvement of school and students in church life.
• Engage wider community in learning and teaching programs.
• Support the school in events and celebrations.
