Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational policies, practices, and strategies that support students with disabilities.
• Curriculum development and adaption aligned with standards and policies.
• Understanding of NCCD processes and evidence collection for students with disabilities.
• Effective classroom management to create a nurturing, safe learning environment.
• Ability to engage with the wider community and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and orderly learning environment aligned with curriculum policies for students with disabilities.
• Collaboratively develop and implement inclusive education practices and assess student progress.
• Implement inclusive teaching strategies and adjust pedagogy to support diverse learners.
• Oversee Personalised Support Plans with clear adjustment requirements.
• Engage in professional renewal to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership, teachers and staff to support school life.
• Supervise students and foster positive pastoral relationships.
• Encourage involvement of school and students in church life and community.
