Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education, through St Benedict College - Mango Hill, seeks a Program Leader (Learning Enhancement) to advance inclusive education and learning support. Qualifications

• Eligibility to work within Australia for the period of appointment.
• Be a committed, practicing Catholic, or in an ecumenical school, a committed, practicing member of one of the faith traditions represented in that ecumenical school.
• Demonstrated leadership in school-based programs and support for staff professional development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders.
• Organisational expertise in managing logistics, resources, and budgets within program areas.
• Commitment to professional learning and implementation of best practices in education.
• Active contribution to school leadership and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of learning enhancement programs that support students with diverse learning needs.
• Supervise teachers and school officers engaged in the program throughout the school.
• Induct new teachers and school officers within the program (or supervise induction where undertaken by another experienced teacher).
• Monitor program outcomes for students and address areas of concern through interventions.
• Coordinate the work of staff delivering the designated program in line with the school's values and ethos.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the program.
• Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff, etc.
• Keep abreast of best practices and provide professional learning for staff.
• Supervise quality of staff within the Program through collegial support and feedback.
• Contribute to school leadership through participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.
• Manage financial and material resources including budgets and expenditures.
