Job summary

DOSCEL is seeking an Inclusive Education Officer to support school leaders in creating inclusive learning environments across the Diocese. The role focuses on strengthening learning adjustments, improving student outcomes, and building capability through coaching and professional learning.

You will collaborate with the DOSCEL Office and schools, applying the WSAPBS framework, aligning with Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0, and delivering expert advice for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in inclusive education and learning adjustments.
• Knowledge of evidence-based behaviour support practices.
• Ability to coach and mentor school leaders and teachers.
• Experience using evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Catholic education experience and relevant postgraduate qualifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• Build the capacity of school leaders to create inclusive environments.
• Support schools to implement WSAPBS across campuses.
• Support implementation of Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0.
• Use evidence and data to inform practice.
• Collaborate with DOSCEL Office and schools on improvement priorities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
• Support learning adjustments for students.
• Prepare reports and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Deliver services aligned with the DOSCEL Expert Teacher Framework.
