Job summary

Department of Education Victoria – Moe VIC is seeking a part-time Disabilities Coordinator (0.4 FTE) to lead programs improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities from Foundation to Year 12. You will work in a multidisciplinary team within Health, Wellbeing and Specialist Services to promote inclusion and equity in schools.

The role requires knowledge of disability rights, collaboration with regional staff and schools, and the delivery of training and project management to drive

Qualifications

• Experience in inclusive education practices and applying disability legislation in schools.
• Desirable knowledge of the Victorian education system.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across region and schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs to improve outcomes for students with disabilities and additional learning needs.
• Support whole-school inclusive practice and policy implementation.
• Prepare high-quality correspondence and manage stakeholder relations.
• Contribute to area and school inclusion planning and reporting.
