Job summary

Department for Education, South Australia seeks an Inclusive Educator on a full-time, short-term contract to provide consultancy, coaching and capability building for preschools and schools supporting children with additional needs.

Collaboration with families and education teams will drive inclusive learning environments and alignment with Disability Standards for Education and DDA obligations. RRHAN–EC training and WWCC eligibility apply.

Qualifications

• Essential: Current full teacher registration.
• Desirable: tertiary qualification in special/inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, targeted, and intensive educational services to preschools and schools to support children with additional needs.
• Collaborate with families, educators and local education teams to establish supportive learning environments, differentiated teaching, and appropriate supports.
• Promote an inclusive environment meeting Disability Standards for Education and legal obligations under the DDA.
