Job summary

Department for Education, South Australia invites applications for the ongoing, part-time (0.6 FTE) Inclusive Preschool Program (IPP) teacher at Renown Park Children’s Centre in Adelaide. You will establish the IPP, support children with additional needs, work with IPP ECW, support workers and the preschool team, and apply the EYLF planning cycle to individuals and groups.

The role values inclusive practice, collaboration and high-quality learning experiences, with part-time arrangements

Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood teaching qualification and TRB registration required.
• Ability to foster positive, inclusive and engaging environments through responsive teaching.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with children, families, colleagues and community.

Responsibilities

• Set up the IPP at the centre and lead inclusive planning.
• Support and empower up to 6 preschool children with substantial adjustments.
• Collaborate with IPP ECW, DfE support workers and preschool team.
• Document and plan for individuals and groups using EYLF with differentiated strategies.
