Job summary

Skateboarding Victoria is seeking an Inclusion and Membership Development Lead to deliver Level the Field initiatives, grow an inclusive membership network, and partner with disability organisations and regional partners. The role focuses 80% on Level the Field and 20% on broader membership development, supported by staff and the Project Subcommittee.

The role is home based, full-time, with travel to Melbourne and rural Victoria as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a complex sport, community, inclusion or grant-funded program from planning through to evaluation, with budgets, contracts, risks, reporting and systems improvement.

Responsibilities

• Level the Field delivery: translate funding agreement into schedule; lead Geelong and Gippsland pilots, inclusive programs, coaching and workforce pathways, and coordinate partners.
• Inclusion and partnerships: Work with clubs, councils, disability organisations and regional partners; ensure people with lived experience influence design, delivery and evaluation.
• Inclusive infrastructure and activation: Develop statewide infrastructure strategy for accessible skatepark design and inclusive activation opportunities.
• Membership and organisational development: Improve membership framework, onboarding and retention; maintain records and strengthen systems and Board support.
• Budget and project accountability: Manage budgets, forecasts, milestones, contracts, risks and grant records; raise issues promptly.
• Reporting and evaluation: Provide monthly updates to Board and Subcommittee; coordinate activity and funder reporting.
