Job summary

Yo-Bar in Canberra is seeking an experienced Team Leader for a full-time, 38-hour week across 5 days. You will lead from the front during shifts, drive customer experience, and motivate the team in a fast-paced store environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires weekend and evening availability to support our busiest trading periods, with a focus on delivering high-energy service and achieving store KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Team Leader, Supervisor, or experienced Crew role.
• Background in hospitality, QSR, or food retail environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Hands-on leader who can motivate, guide, and support a team.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask under pressure.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations of a high-performing, fast-paced store.
• Deliver standout customer service experiences that build loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Lead by example on the floor, coaching and supporting team members during shifts.
• Help train, onboard and develop team members to set them up for success.
• Drive sales performance and contribute to achieving store KPIs.
• Maintain high standards across cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
• Take ownership of shifts and ensure smooth operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
