Job summary

Hardware & General in Brookvale is seeking an in-store Sales Representative to assist customers, promote guttering and roofing solutions, and drive sales in a full-time capacity.

You will process orders, build customer relationships, contribute to store operations, and learn product knowledge to support growth in a busy building supplies environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, in-store sales or customer service is preferred.
• Experience in roofing, guttering or building supplies is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommend guttering and roofing solutions.

About the Opportunity

We have a full-time opportunity available in our Brookvale Guttering & Roofing team. We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused team player who enjoys helping customers, building relationships and learning about products within the building and trade supply industry.

Previous experience in retail, sales or customer service is preferred. Experience in guttering, roofing or building supplies will be highly regarded, along with a willingness to develop product knowledge and technical understanding.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting customers with product enquiries and recommending suitable guttering and roofing solutions.
• Processing sales, preparing quotes and managing customer orders and returns.
• Building positive customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities.
• Working closely with external sales representatives and internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Supporting order coordination, scheduling and day-to-day store operations.
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues where possible.
