Job summary

Wolf & Williams is seeking an experienced Disputes Lawyer to join its in-house legal team in Sydney on an initial six-month contract. You will manage a diverse portfolio of contentious matters, advising on strategy and coordinating with external counsel.

You will report to the General Counsel and work closely with stakeholders to achieve practical outcomes, handling litigation, drafting court documents and supporting mediations and ADR as required.

Qualifications

• Admitted lawyer with disputes experience.
• Desirable: administration law and environment & planning experience.
• Strong understanding of court processes and dispute resolution frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing litigation and dispute matters from inception to resolution.
• Providing strategic legal advice on contentious issues.
• Drafting court documents, legal correspondence and briefing materials.
• Assisting with management of court proceedings, mediations and ADR.
• Coordinating and instructing external counsel.
