Job summary

Sigma Executive is recruiting for a high-calibre construction/infrastructure lawyer to join a Western Australian in-house team. The role focuses on complex, high-value capital projects and offers exposure across procurement, property and commercial contracting.

You will work closely with project leaders and executives, delivering pragmatic legal solutions that support business objectives while managing risk.

Qualifications

• High-calibre construction or infrastructure lawyer
• 5-9 years' post-qualification experience (PAE)
• Experience in private practice construction teams or in-house environments

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and project delivery contracts and procurement agreements
• Advising on procurement strategies, tender documentation and risk allocation
• Supporting delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects from inception to completion
• Advising on contract administration, variations, time extensions, claims and disputes
• Providing legal advice on commercial, supplier, services, technology and procurement contracts
• Supporting property and development matters including leasing and development agreements
• Managing external legal advisers and coordinating specialist support
• Collaborating with project directors, procurement and commercial teams to deliver outcomes
