Job summary

Better Rehab in Hobart is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home community aged care services. The role focuses on providing OT services to Support at Home clients, enabling independence and safety within clients' own homes.

You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team with supervision and pathways for professional development, supported by a flexible but structured environment and company-wide values emphasizing patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening and police checks (WWCC/Police Check) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conducting functional assessments and documenting client needs in detailed reports.
• Communicating identified needs with clients, families, and service providers, and coordinating referrals to health professionals or specialists.
• Prescribing suitable equipment and recommending home modifications to support client independence and safety.
