Job summary

Silverchain is hiring Home Care Workers to assist older adults in Sunshine Coast North and South regions, including Caloundra and nearby towns. Roles range from Entry Level to Level 2, with duties such as housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, transport and social support.

Open Driver's Licence and a vehicle are required, with opportunities for accelerated learning and Cert 3 qualifications. Casual and part-time positions come with benefits and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Open class Australian Driver's Licence and own insured vehicle.
• Interest in community or aged care; experience is preferred but not essential.
• Casual and Permanent Part-Time roles available; no experience required for entry level.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, bed making and cleaning in clients' homes.
• Meal preparation, grocery shopping and laundry tasks.
• Provide social support and transport to activities.
• Assist with mobility and personal care for Level 2 clients as needed.
• Support family carers by providing breaks and relief.
