Job summary

Silverchain Group is hiring Home Care Workers on the Sunshine Coast to support older community members to stay independent at home. Roles available include casual and permanent part-time positions with award rates plus super, paid kilometres, and salary packaging options.

Entry level roles do not require a Cert 3, though drivers with their own insured vehicle are preferred. Training includes CPR and First Aid; a not-for-profit organisation reinvesting in care innovation.

Qualifications

• Enjoy variety in the day and provide excellent service.
• Able to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Comfortable working independently and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, beds, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Providing social support and transport to activities.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities as Level 2 care.
• Support the family carer to take a break.
