Job summary

Just Better Care is a leading provider of in-home aged care and disability support services across Australia. We are recruiting Support Workers to join our QLD team, servicing the Sunshine Coast region. Casual opportunities offer flexible hours to fit your lifestyle.

You’ll provide personal care, assist with daily tasks and accompany clients to appointments while keeping safety and dignity at the forefront. Join a supportive, local team and contribute to high-quality community care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or Home & Community Care (preferred)
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (if applicable)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Federal Police Check, Yellow Card, and Blue Card
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence
• A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)
• Smartphone with internet access

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
• Assisting with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Offering social support and transport for appointments, shopping, and community outings
• Helping customers safely use mobility aids and equipment (e.g., hoists, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Supporting clients with complex or challenging care needs
• Monitoring customer well-being and reporting any changes or concerns
• Attending staff meetings and participating in required training sessions
