Job summary

Uniting AgeWell Careers in Victoria and regional NSW is seeking compassionate Home Support Workers to assist clients in Echuca and surrounding areas. You'll travel between homes delivering domestic assistance and personal care in a friendly, client-centred environment.

These are part-time roles with 20 hours per fortnight and daytime availability across at least three weekdays. You will join a values-based not-for-profit team delivering high-quality, respectful support to help older people live

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic support, cleaning, housekeeping or a similar role (desirable)
• Commitment to respectful, high-quality support
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to support older people to live independently at home

Responsibilities

• Travelling between clients' homes across your local area to provide personalised in-home support.
• Providing domestic assistance and household support tailored to each client's needs (cleaning, laundry, tidying, etc.).
• Supporting clients to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Building respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Respecting each client's cultural, spiritual and individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation.
• Working with a multidisciplinary team to support positive client outcomes.
