Job summary

Uniting AgeWell is expanding its Home Care team in the Wangaratta region to support older people to live independently at home. The role involves travelling to clients across the local area, delivering domestic assistance and housework tailored to each person’s needs.

These part-time positions offer guaranteed hours (20 hours per fortnight) with daytime availability on at least three weekdays, in a values-based not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic support or similar roles is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to providing respectful, high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Travel between clients' homes in the local area to provide personalised in-home support.
• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry and household tasks.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
• Build respectful relationships with clients and their families during visits.
• Document activities and work with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes.
