Job summary

Uniting AgeWell seeks Home Care Workers to assist older residents in Yarrawonga and surrounding communities. You will travel between clients’ homes delivering personalised support to maintain independence and quality of life, with daytime hours across three weekdays.

These part-time roles offer guaranteed hours; you’ll join a values-driven not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to respectful, person-centred care and community connections.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support; nursing students with aged care placement welcome.
• Experience in home care, aged care or disability support desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to respectful, person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Assist with domestic tasks like cleaning and laundry.
• Help clients maintain independence and wellbeing.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.
• Respect cultural, spiritual and individual needs; build positive relationships.
• Collaborate with care team to support clients.
