Job summary

Uniting AgeWell Limited is expanding its Home Care team in Victoria, offering part-time in-home support to older people to help them stay living independently at home. The roles involve travelling across Wangaratta and surrounds, with guaranteed 20 hours per fortnight and daytime availability on at least three weekdays.

Ideal candidates will have experience in domestic support or cleaning, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to BEST values.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic support, cleaning or housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to supporting older people to live independently at home.

Responsibilities

• Travel between clients' homes to provide personalised in-home support.
• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, tidying and household tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment for clients.
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
• Respect clients' cultural and individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support client outcomes.
