Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Adelaide is seeking Support Workers to provide in-home care across the SA region, including the Southern Fleurieu. You will assist clients with daily living activities, domestic assistance, social support, respite and personal care to help them remain independent at home.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in IS/HC, a current driver's licence, Level 2 First Aid and CPR, NDIS clearance and police clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Individualised Support or equivalent.
• Current full driver’s licence.
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
• NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
• Police Clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain one).
• Living in the Southern Suburbs or Southern Fleurieu (desirable).
• Ability to use internet and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care in home settings.
• Provide Domestic Assistance and Social Support as part of in-home care services.
• Support clients to maintain independence and engage with community activities.
• Follow care plans and report changes in client health or needs.
• Drive client/company vehicles as required and maintain safety.
