Job summary
Calvary Care is seeking Support Workers for Adelaide and the Southern Fleurieu region to assist aged and high-need clients at home with daily living tasks, personal care, and respite support. You will help clients maintain independence while living in their own homes, following Calvary's service model.
Successful candidates will hold a Certificate III in IS/Home & Community Services or equivalent, have a current driver's license, first aid, and NDIS/Police clearances or willingness to obtain
Qualifications
- Certificate III or equivalent in aged care or community services.
- Current full drivers license.
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
- NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Police Clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain).
- Access to internet and ability to use computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Promote client choice, meaningful routines and activities.
- Work shifts in set rostering blocks and patterns.
- Be able to drive client/company vehicles.
- Support clients at home with daily living and personal care.
- Report changes in health or care plans and request additional services.
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures across Calvary.
