Job summary

Calvary Health Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers to service the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, including Victor Harbor and Goolwa. You will assist aged and high-needs clients with activities of daily living and provide home-based domestic, social and personal care to support independence.

Responsibilities include promoting client choice, flexible rostering, driving required vehicles, and maintaining up-to-date care plans while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services or equivalent is required.
• NDIS clearance and Police clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote Client Choice and meaningful activities per Calvary home Care's Service Delivery Model.
• Work in set shift blocks/roster patterns.
• Drive client/company vehicles as needed.
• Support clients to enhance life choices at home and in the community.
• Report changes in client health or care plans and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain health and safety for yourself and others in the workplace.
• Protect client rights and confidentiality at all times.
