Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a Community Support Worker to assist our aged care clients at home across select Brisbane service areas. You will help clients maintain independence with daily activities and basic personal care after training, in a supportive team environment.

Flexible start and finish times allow you to choose 3–5 days per week; no prior experience required as training is provided. Join a values-driven not-for-profit organisation that supports career growth and community

Qualifications

Australian driver’s licence and a reliable insured motor vehicle are essential.
Reliability and compassion for the elderly.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is advantageous; traineeship available.

Responsibilities

Provide quality personalised home care to clients, helping them live independently at home.
Assist with general household tasks (cleaning, ironing, laundry, meal prep).
Provide personal care (dressing, grooming, showering) after training.
Offer social support and respite services.
Provide transport to appointments and shopping.
