Bene Aged Care is seeking compassionate Community Care Workers to support clients across the Western and Southern suburbs. The role offers flexible casual hours and meaningful work in the community, with a values-driven, not-for-profit environment.

Join a supportive team, provide personal care, medication prompting, light domestic tasks and transport. Relevant certifications and a valid driver’s licence are required, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum availability of 3 days per week across the Western and Southern suburbs.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher).
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Full Australian driver’s licence.
• Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Access to a smart mobile device.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to client needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with personal care, domestic support, social engagement and transport in their homes.
• Work independently in the community to support older South Australians.
• Follow care plans and advocate for client needs and preferences.
• Communicate and document client changes and concerns to the Case Manager.
• Participate in staff training, appraisals and team meetings.
• Contribute to quality improvement and incident management.
