Job summary

CommBank in Karratha is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist for a part-time position (31.25 hours/week). You will work with the Branch Manager to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, building relationships and guiding customers to the right specialist for complex needs.

You will help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options, complete financial health checks, and process loan and credit card applications, while ensuring accurate transactions and proactive customer

Qualifications

Ability to ask the right questions and identify customer needs.
Comfortable working independently while referring to specialists when needed.
Experience in a busy retail banking environment and delivering holistic solutions.

Responsibilities

Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
Assist customers with in-branch technology and digital banking options.
Address transactional needs to ensure customer satisfaction on exit.
Conduct Financial Health Checks to assess financial needs.
Interview and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products.
Proactively call customers to invite them for a Financial Health Check or a specialist appointment.
Follow Bank processes and reconcile transactions accurately.
Engage with customers at community events and fundraising activities.
Support team safety and wellbeing.
Capture customer feedback and drive service improvements.
