Linktal Recruitment is seeking an Imports Manager for an Australian-owned forwarder with 20+ years in the industry, expanding across Asia-Pacific and US markets. You will lead day-to-day import air/ocean operations and bonded warehouse activities, guiding a depot team and coordinating with ABF, DAFF, and customs brokers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in imports freight operations.
• Proven exposure to team leadership, management or supervision.
• Hands-on experience managing bonded warehouse/depot.
• Proficient in CargoWise.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day import air/ocean operations and bonded warehouse activities, eg. receiving, storage, clearance, outturn and dispatch.
• Lead, supervise and oversee imports operations and depot teams.
• Act as a key point of contact for ABF, DAFF, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, transport providers and clients.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational issues and manage client enquiries, feedback and complaints.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ABF, DAFF, customs, bonded depot, WHS and other regulatory requirements.
