iMile Delivery is seeking an Import & Customs Specialist to support its growing international logistics operations in Australia. You will coordinate import shipments, manage customs clearance and collaborate with brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in import logistics, strong knowledge of Australian import processes and excellent communication skills to liaise with overseas partners. A fast-paced, cross-border logistics environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in import logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding or related field.
• Solid understanding of Australian import processes and customs clearance.
• Experience with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and service providers.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of import documentation and compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, coordinating across multiple parties.
• Good written and spoken English for business correspondence and overseas partners.
• Experience in cross-border e-commerce, courier or parcel logistics is highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end import shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, delivery and warehouse handover.
• Work with customs brokers, forwarders, airlines, shipping lines and partners to ensure smooth clearance and delivery.
• Prepare, review and maintain import documentation in line with Australian customs requirements.
• Monitor shipment status, identify delays or exceptions, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate shipment information and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor import logistics performance, including clearance and delivery times and service quality.
• Support supplier management with performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Maintain records of shipments, documentation and operational data.
• Identify opportunities to improve import and customs processes and reduce delays.
• Support other international logistics projects as required.
