Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Workforce Development Supervisor to lead learning and development for Corrections Victoria's metropolitan region. The role focuses on professional service delivery, capability development, and alignment with AQTF and RTO standards.

The position requires weekend/public holiday availability with pay per VPS provisions. Direct prisoner contact is possible, and onboarding of new staff to Corrections Victoria platforms is included.

Qualifications

• Experience with competency-based training and assessment.
• Ability to plan, manage and implement training solutions.
• Experience coordinating teams and providing consultancy to managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate pre-service training for the Metro Region.
• Support squad managers on standards, recruitment behaviour, and program management.
• Coordinate facilitators, dates, times, and locations for training sessions.
