Transport for NSW seeks a Planning Analyst for a fixed-term full-time position at Macquarie Park. You will collect, analyse and interpret demographic, land use and economic data to inform evidence-based transport planning and modelling.

You will develop and maintain Travel Zone Projections inputs, update dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, and support stakeholders across the Place Forecasting and Model Planning Teams. Strong data, modelling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing population, workforce and demographic data.
• Ability to translate technical inputs into clear, accessible advice.
• Experience in public sector or consulting environments.
• Knowledge of geospatial data and mapping tools.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate annual TENAs updates and maintain TZP dashboards.
• Develop and maintain data visualisations using Power BI and Tableau.
• Collect, validate and maintain network assumptions for transport models.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights for transport planning.
• Prepare reports and presentations translating technical information for diverse audiences.
