Transport for NSW is seeking a Planning Analyst on a fixed-term basis (up to 12 months) in Macquarie Park. You will support forecasting, demographic analysis and the development of TZP inputs, using GIS and BI tools to inform evidence-based transport planning.

You’ll translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences, collaborate across teams, and help maintain dashboards and TENAs assumptions for annual updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to collect, validate and manage large demographic and transport data.
• Experience interpreting quantitative data and communicating insights clearly.
• Experience in planning, modelling and stakeholder-informed decision making.

Responsabilités

• Collect, manipulate, analyse and manage geospatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS to support transport planning and modelling activities.
• Develop and maintain data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
• Collaborate across teams to collect, validate and maintain network assumptions and key inputs for transport models.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights relevant to transport planning.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and fitness for purpose.
• Prepare reports and presentations translating technical information into clear insights for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate stakeholders during TENAs annual update process.
• Manage competing demands and priorities across workstreams.
• Demonstrate ability to work with geospatial data and develop dashboards.
